About this project

Let’s make it possible for CE Europa to achieve its goals

Needs Task Minimum Optimum
Evolve the club’s structure to meet today’s challenges
Evolve from an “amateur” model towards a solid organization, capable of competing and growing in increasingly professional environments — without ever giving up our grassroots identity. In practice, this means: • Strengthening the technical and administrative teams with specialized profiles. • Modernizing governance processes so that members can continue to make decisions based on accurate, real-time information. • Upgrading infrastructure — from ticketing systems to IT platforms — to meet the demands that come with the Club’s growth.
$ 1,612,563
Align the sports staff needs for the season
The minimum requirements set by the RFEF are a real challenge. We must ensure the club can cover all sports-related expenses — including coaches, fitness trainers, video analysts, physiotherapists, communications staff, grassroots football coordinators, and matchday operations personnel. Only then can we compete with confidence this season and maintain a professional environment that protects the health and performance of our players. Every euro contributed becomes hours of quality training, immediate medical care, and rigorous sports management — all of which guarantee the stability and ambition of CE Europa throughout the entire season.
$ 1,546,293
Improve the structure and tools of the sports staff
Provide our youth academy with the necessary resources to continue our ongoing training efforts, ensuring that methodological knowledge flows coherently from the lower categories all the way to the first teams. At the same time, this professionalization must meet both the regulatory requirements — including licenses, medical protocols, gender equality plans, and the financial sustainability criteria set by the RFEF — and the budgetary limits of a collectively owned club. In doing so, we ensure that CE Europa remains competitive in both the men’s and women’s Primera RFEF, while creating a safe, regulated environment for the development of all youth players.
$ 1,391,664
Acquisition of gear and resources
The purchase of sports equipment is a key pillar to ensure that CE Europa can continue offering high-quality training sessions and competitive matches for all its teams — from the youth academy to the senior men’s and women’s squads. This includes upgrading existing equipment or acquiring new resources that can help us take a step forward. We also plan to renew specific gear to eliminate disparities between age groups and genders — so that everyone trains with the same tools and the same level of quality. Contributions to this crowdfunding campaign will make it possible to acquire this material without compromising the club’s financial stability.

General information

Join the Resistance!

Club Esportiu Europa is much more than just a football club: it is 100% owned by its members and has become a symbol of grassroots and community football — in Gràcia and beyond. It was a founding member of the Spanish league La Liga in 1929 and a Copa del Rey finalist in 1923.Moreover, Europa is committed to non-discrimination, being the first club in the Spanish state to declare itself anti-sexist, anti-racist, anti-fascist, anti-homophobia, and anti-bullying.

With no shareholders or investors, Europa has grown while staying true to its core values: internal democracy and sustainability. And this commitment has taken us far: the women’s team now plays in the Second Division, and the men’s team in the Primera RFEF.

This success, however, comes at a cost: professional player salaries, travel expenses, facility improvements, youth development, and social projects. And we want to meet these challenges the way we always have — collectively, without compromising our model.

That’s why we’re launching this crowdfunding campaign: to cover the costs of the 2025–26 season and strengthen the club’s self-financing model. We invite members, neighbours of Gràcia, and supporters of grassroots football from all over the world to help make it happen.

Let’s join forces for a kind of sport that puts people, equality, and the local community at the centre.

Main features and goals of the crowdfunding campaign

Why is Europa a unique project?

Collective ownership
We are a club 100% owned by our members — every membership card comes with a voice and a vote. This guarantees a democratic and participatory structure.

Socially rooted football
We combine sporting growth with strong values. We work from the grassroots up, collaborate with local organizations, and build community in Gràcia.

A benchmark in women’s football
Our women’s first team plays in the Primera RFEF (second division) — one of the few to do so under a fan-owned model.

True financial sustainability
We don’t depend on investors or corporations. We’re sustained by membership fees, ticket sales, ethical sponsorships — and now, your support.

What do we want to achieve with this campaign?

  1. Secure the club’s basic expenses for the 2025–26 season.
  2. Improve the working conditions of both the women’s and men’s squads.
  3. Strengthen our youth academy and educational programs based on values.
  4. Invest in Nou Sardenya: infrastructure and service upgrades for our supporters.
  5. Create a reserve fund to ensure organic, self-sustaining growth.
  6. Expand the grassroots football model of Gràcia beyond our borders.

Why this is important

This crowdfunding campaign is born from two clear reasons:

1 – Because growth comes at a cost

Moving up and competing in national leagues means more travel, stricter federation requirements, and greater professional demands.
And that shows in the budget.

2 – Because we won’t sell our soul

We could turn to external investors, but we choose to remain true to our values: internal democracy, social commitment, and collective response.

Who are we reaching out to?

To everyone who sees football as a tool for social transformation:
• To our members, already actively shaping the project.
• To our Gràcia neighbours, who know Europa is more than football — it’s culture, community, and identity.
• To the international grassroots football community, which supports associative, egalitarian, and sustainable models.
• To fans everywhere who seek a club with values, collective ownership, and working-class pride.

With this campaign, we aim to build solidarity among people who love football, believe in direct participation, and defend a sport that truly is by and for the people.
