El viernes 30 de diciembre de 2022 (hace literalmente 3 días), la Junta de Extremadura, con toda intencionalidad, aprovechando una vez más la época festivo-navideña, saca a relucir sus garras destructoras en forma de publicaciones en el Diario Oficial de Extremadura.
Como decimos, el pasado 30 de diciembre se publicaron en el DOE:
1.- anuncio de información pública del estudio de impacto ambiental del proyecto de explotación minera "Las Navas"
2.- anuncio de información pública de la solicitud de autorización ambiental integrada del proyecto de la planta de beneficio para la minera en Cañaveral
3.- anuncio de información pública del plan de restauración y proyecto de explotación […] “Las Navas”
Si la Junta de Extremadura piensa que por actuar con esta “noctur-navidad” nos vamos a quedar parados y/o callados, se equivoca. Precisamente en estas fechas, el estar con los nuestros refuerza nuestra postura, pues esta lucha no es sino por nuestros hijos y nietos. Luchamos por dejar a las generaciones venideras un futuro de trabajo y desarrollo sostenibles, un ecosistema que les permita poder subsistir y vivir en condiciones dignas.
Nuestra oposición es firme a proyectos extractivistas de empresas especuladoras que expolian la tierra hasta que consiguen las subvenciones que las Administraciones Públicas ponen en sus manos sin mayor escrúpulo. Empresas que solo buscan su propio lucro, sin importarles las consecuencias económicas, ni las relativas a la salud de los habitantes, a los ecosistemas o al futuro de las tierras que con tanto ahínco sueñan arrasar en busca de subvenciones de dinero público con las que llenar sus enormes bolsillos nunca satisfechos.
Como nuestro compañero Manuel Nogueras de “El Salto Diario” dice:
“Es lo de siempre: llegan de fuera, prometen, explotan y se lo llevan. Y les ponemos el suelo gratis y hasta el dinero sobre la mesa”.
